Transport department of GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited in association with GMR Varlakshmi Foundation and Care Hospital today (15th October, Saturday) organized Free Medical Check-up camp to the Radio Cab Drivers of Meru, Easy & Sky Cabs along with pre-paid taxi, Aeroexpress and GMR staff bus drivers today at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.

Various medical tests like Blood Pressure, Diabetics, ECG, Eye and other general tests conducted in the medical camp by eminent physicians of the Care hospital. Besides giving the medical advice, the doctors also gave counseling to the drivers on the health issues and prevention methods.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. CUG Sastry, COO of GHIAL said that the cab drivers, particularly radio cab drivers & Aero Express drivers play very important role in running of an airport. He advised the drivers to give at most importance to their health issues.

Nearly 300 Meru, Easy & Sky Cab drivers along with pre-paid taxi, Aeroexpress and GMR staff bus drivers participated and undergone various health tests and clarified various health related issues with the physicians.

One more free medical check-up camp will be organized for the benefit of the remaining radio cab drivers on 22nd October.
