The platform uses facial recognition technology to verify the identity of flyers. DigiYatra is a decentralised mobile-based ID storage platform where air travellers can save their IDs and travel documents.

Introduced by the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MOCA) and Digi Yatra Foundation, this platform is the next step towards creating a digitally empowered society. The future of air travel, DigiYatra enables the automatic digital processing of flyers.

Digi Yatra is live for all domestic passengers at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. Passengers with Digi Yatra boarding passes can enter through departure gates 5,6,8,9 & 10. Our passenger service associates are available to help in case you need assistance.

DigiYatra provides air passengers with the benefit of reduced wait time and makes the boarding process faster and more seamless.
DigiYatra facilitates paperless air travel and helps flyers breeze through the airport processes with limited physical contact. It lets passengers swiftly walk through the cameras by using advanced biometric security solutions. DigiYatra is built on four pillars, including connected passengers, connected flying, connected airports, and connected systems, and ensures easy entry at all checkpoints.

How to get the Digi Yatra app?

The Digi Yatra app is available for both Android and iPhone. It can be downloaded free of cost on any smartphone.

DigiYatra App Enrolment Process

Step 1: Download the DigiYatra App by Digi Yatra Foundation from Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS) and register using your mobile number and OTP (Aadhar linked Mobile number only)
Step 2: Link your Identity Credentials using DigiLocker or Offline Aadhaar.
Step 3: Click a selfie picture when prompted and upload onto the app.
Step 4: Update your Boarding Pass on the DigiYatra App and share with the departure airport.
Step 5: Registration complete

Wi-Fi

“ION”, a brand owned by DVOIS Communications Private Limited provides Wi-Fi services at the Hyderabad Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
Passengers can utilize mobile phones, tablets or laptops to browse the Internet via the free Wi-Fi.

Domestic – Near Gate 22 A

International – Wi-Fi kiosk is available near the information desk near 23 B. Passengers need to scan their passport and a coupon with the OTP will be issued through which passengers can access the Wi-Fi for free up to 4 hours.

Login Procedure

1. Enable Wi-Fi on your Laptop, Mobile, Tablet, Other device for Wi-Fi networks.
2. On your device, connect to the airport Wi-Fi SSID: “Hyderabad Airport-Free-WiFi”
3. Once the login page loads, choose the country where your SIM card / mobile number is registered in. Enter your mobile number (required as per Telecom Regulatory Authority of India rules & regulations) and select “I agree to terms & conditions”
4. Choose “Get SMS-OTP” to receive SMS. If you already have an OTP, choose “Already have OTP”
5. Enter the OTP in the field provided and choose “Submit”
6. Receive a SMS of Serial No. and Pin and “Save Serial No. and Pin “
7. Start browsing and enjoy FREE Internet

Transfer Desk:

We have a dedicated transfer desk, first-of-its-kind, to assist transfer passengers. Located at Arrivals, Level E, the transfer desk assists passengers in Domestic to Domestic and Domestic to International transfers.

Hand Baggage Trolleys / Carts: Available on the departure ramp, parking area, check-in hall and near the baggage belts.

Shopping / Small Trollers: Available post security check and on arrival near the exit of the aerobridges.

Ramps and Elevators

For easy access to Departing passengers, Elevators are available from Car Parking level that will take you just next to the Departure Gates 1 and 2. Arriving passengers can make use of Escalators and ramps from Arrival forecourt to Level E for onward access to Parking area, Radio Cabs, Pushpak Bus service, Food court and other Eateries.

Paid Porter assistance

We offer Paid Porter service to assist you with your luggage, at a nominal cost. Their services can be booked at the Departure.

GENERAL AVIATION

The new state-of-the-art General Aviation Terminal is tailored exclusively for private jet owners and users. The new terminal facilitates the diverse needs of passengers flying through chartered flights meant for business or personal travel from Hyderabad Airport.

The GA terminal, spanning across 11,234 square feet, is situated beside the RGIA terminal and includes a private entrance and a car park. It features a distinctive theme of classical architecture blended with Indo-Saracenic-Indo-Gothic style, and its interiors create an ambience rich in elegance and comfort. WHEEL CHAIR

Airport Kruz, an automated wheelchair service is available on chargeable basis to passengers travelling through Rajiv Gandhi International airport. The service is a mix of electrical and manual wheel chair. Passengers can place their request for the wheelchair service either at the Airport Kruz counter situated at Domestic and International Departures or book on +91- 7654321737. The Charges per trip at Domestic are Rs. 500/- (inclusive taxes) and for International are Rs. 1000/- (inclusive taxes). The charges are subject to change without notice. The service is available from the pick up point to the boarding gate and vice versa. The service is in addition to the complimentary service already being offered by the airlines.

CarterX is an on-demand Luggage transfer platform from RGIA for facilitating doorstep pick-up and delivery of passengers’ luggage in Hyderabad. CarterX securely picks up luggage from traveler’s doorstep / baggage belts and delivers it to the airport check in counter / passenger doorstep. Plaza Premium offers passengers with Nap & Shower facility at the Hyderabad Rajiv Gandhi International airport, which provides a comfortable place for passengers to relax before or after a flight. Domestic Terminal - Check-in- Services for Mothers with Infants- GHIAL provides Baby strollers upto the Boarding Gates to passengers requesting at departures in the terminal 24X7. Service provided is free of charge. Passenger has to approach the information desk counter at check-in area, Departures, give their details and request for a baby stroller till the pax reaches boarding gate with the baby stroller.

PRM Waiting Area

Hyderabad International Airport has a dedicated waiting area for Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM) that caters to special needs in terms of seating and phone facilities. The departure passengers can relax in the waiting areas till the pre-booked help arrives. The arrival passengers can sit back at the dedicated area at Arrivals, Departures and wait to be picked up by their friends/relatives or till they hail a cab.

PASSENGER IS PRIME

Rajiv Gandhi International Airport has a dedicated team of young and enthusiastic Passenger Service Associates available across the airport to assist and support passengers. These specially trained individuals in turquoise green t-shirt with ‘Passenger is Prime’ & ‘Happy to Help’ engraved on the back are deployed across key touch points within the terminal, such as check-in area, security check area, transfers area among others.
